This was a ONE DAY ONLY BEATLES performance on FRIDAY, 24th MAY 1963, at which The Beatles topped the bill. This was the Beatles third UK tour (kicking off on 18th May 1963). Although Roy Orbison initially began as top of the bill, The Beatles very quickly – (by audience demand – assumed that role!) By the second week of the tour even the cover of the souvenir programme had been altered to reflect this change. The Beatles repertoire for this tour comprised of, Some Other Guy, Do You Want to Know a Secret, Love Me Do, From Me To You, Please Please Me, I Saw Her Standing There and Twist and Shout.

Gauranteed original, this is a **LARGE SIZED** Handbill Complete with UNUSED BOOKING FORM WHICH IS STILL ATTACHED, for The Beatles one day only performance on FRIDAY 24th MAY 1963 at the Granada Cinema, Hoe Street, Walthamstow London.

Note: Before this gig The Beatles recorded the first in their own series of four special BBC radio programmes entitled Pop Go The Beatles.

As shown on the bottom of the booking form, the handbill is printed by The Hastings Printing Company, Portland Place, Hastings.

This very colorful handbill measures 10” x 7” (25.5 cms x 17.75 cms) - including the still attached UNUSED Booking form - and is in SUPERB condition, NO tearing, NO handwriting, NO damage to the handbill. All there is to mention is a mild horizontal and vertical fold, both of these folds are very mild, more noticeable on the reverse, the handbill has been kept flat for many years.

The bright YELLOW background, the images of The Beatles, Gerry of Gerry and the Pacemakers and Roy Orbison are stunningly CLEAR and VIVID with NO fading, as is the BOLD red, white, blue and yellow print. The UNUSED booking form which is still attached to the Handbill is UNDAMAGED.
