A SUPER EXAMPLE WITH THE RARER *WIDE SPINE EDGE* GATE-FOLD SLEEVE.

No doubt, this album is one of the Iconic albums of the 20th Century, ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was released by EMI/Parlophone UK on the 1st June 1967, in both mono and stereo formats. The album went straight to Number one, and dominated the top position in the charts for 23 weeks!

Album Description and Condition:

This First Issue **mono** Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd label’ rim, with ‘Sold in the UK’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ printed to both sides of the record labels labels.

Both record labels are in Excellent condition, bright record labels showing several signs of play around the centre spindle holes on both sides.

Side 1 matrix’s XEX 637-1, and Side 2 XEX 638-1.

Side 1 stampers, 3 7 AAH and Side 2, 16 RHR.

There is an embossed *KT* Tax Code visible on the centre of the side 2 record label.

Both sides of the Vinyl Disc is in superb Excellent condition, clean and bright Vinyl surfaces to both sides, with just a few light surface hairline scratches, none of which sound when played.

The LP plays throughout with superb sound quality, without skips, and only mild background static noise, otherwise a clear and powerful sound quality.

The Vinyl LP comes in it’s original Made in Gt Britain flame inner bag which has a 2” split to the bottom edge, and also includes it’s original Sgt Pepper unused, uncut, card cut-out, both are in undamaged.

And are protected in it’s original First Issue Fully Laminated Garrod & Lofthouse Internal Flip back, **WIDE SPINE EDGE** Gate-fold Sleeve correctly printed ‘PMC 7027 Mono’ to the reverse.

This Gate-fold Sleeve has the rarer Wider Spine, and is in very nice Excellent Plus condition with a Near Mint centre gate-fold. The sleeve still retains its very deep gloss laminate to the front, inner gate-fold and reverse, with no fading to the colours, and only minimal record indentation to the reverse panel. There are no seam splits to any of the edges, and only tiny corner bumps .

The centre gate-fold is in beautiful condition, and the two internal fold over flaps are undamaged. The wide spine edge is clean, firm and undamaged with NO laminate flaking, and clearly reads \'Sgt Pepper\'s Lonely Hearts Club Band\'.

The reverse panel of the sleeve is also in undamaged condition too.

A complete and nice example of this mono version of The Beatles 1967 UK Album, with a rare wide spine gate-fold sleeve.
