Here for sale is considered the most desirable griffin library table/partners desk that any firm produced. Most believe it was manufactured by RJ Horner of NY and as well I believe that. I have also seen a near identical model that was tagged Paine out of Boston, who cares right? Both forms made spectacular things and if one was good the other guy would soon copy. This desk is Rare! You may see a couple for sale in a years time. I will tell you this, this table is as close to perfect as you can get it. We just completed a complete restoration on this one insuring that it is tight, stable, beautiful and will need nothing for the next 100 years or so. Constructed of solid hand carved Mahogany and as the pictures tell, the most wonderful ribbon cut grain. The carved top may be the rarest of all on this model. Look closely, the carved border is huge a full 6\" across compared to almost every other model that\'s similar at 4\" band. You can search and see that theses table can demand as much as 20k$. A tremendous table here for a far lower realistic price point. This table is a statement piece and rivals any other table on the market today, they are highly sought after and rarely found. We have it on casters in the picture but I ask have the original glass sliders which are extremely rare (sliders are not for sale without the desk) This is a big boy too measuring in at a whooping 56\"wide, 36-1/2\" deep, 30\" without sliders or casters. The color is so rich it\'s almost three dimensional with the deep red mahogany. Desk is for sale locally and on our site also so act quickly.
