Very nice card of: The Castle, Lake Kegonsa, Stoughton, Wis. (Wisconsin, WI, Wisc), postmarked Aug 8, 1908, Stoughton, Wis.Stoughton is in Dane Co. WI. Card back is divided. Stamp has been removed. On the front is stamped, E.C. Kropp Co. Pub. Milwaukee, No. 4914.

Card is addressed to: Mr. Harry S. Jones, Janesville, Wis., 53 Linn St. The message reads: Having a fine time. \"Mary\".

This is a really nice card, showing the castle. The castle was built in 1903 as a summer bachelor pad for Peter Sorenson & Gunder Anderson. It is supposed to replicate a typical Danish castle with two turrets. From what I understand the castle still stands and is privately owned.

This card is in really nice shape. Corners are bumped & minorly chipped. Card back is lightly yellowed and there is a small spot of tear where the stamp was removed.
