The Escort Carriers in Action: The Story--in Pictures--of the Escort Carrier Force U.S. Pacific Fleet 1945. This is a rare book that was gifted to the 30,000 Sailors who manned these \"Jeep\" aircraft carriers.The book measures 9.25\" x12.5\" and has 183 pages. It\'s loaded with black and white photos. Additionally, there were four 8\" x 10\" photos tucked inside. The two photos pictured to the left of the book are glossy and actually stamped on back (see photos #2 and 3). The two 8\"x10\" photos to the right of the book picture Escort Carriers…these are matt prints with no markings in back. The book itself is in very good condition…some cosmetic wear to the cover; there is a brief Christmas gift inscription inked on the cover page; other than this, the pages are clean. Spine is tight. Again, this is a very rare book seldom found…let alone in this condition with additional photos tucked in it.Check the many pics and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
