Sviluppata nel lontano 1866, la carta baritata è la carta fotografica classica per antonomasia.
Questo tipo di carta è particolarmente apprezzato nelle gallerie e nei musei. Bianchi luminosi, colori contrastati e vivi, toni di nero profondi, tonalità raffinate e contorni definiti.
A ciò va aggiunta una durata nel tempo superiore a quella di tutte le altre carte fotografiche. Il processo di sviluppo classico utilizzato per la carta baritata è particolarmente dispendioso.
Per questo motivo, ci si affida di norma ad operatori altamente qualificati.

Developed back in 1866, the fiber base paper is the classic photo paper par excellence.
