The Princess Diana Bride Doll - The Danbury Mint:
The Danbury Mint launched a new doll series in 1986 with the release of the Princess Diana Bride Doll.
Doll is approx. 19” high and wears a very good replica of Diana’s wedding gown.
Doll’s gown is made of taffeta and embroidered lace. The train is approx. 5 feet long to represent the 25 foot train of Diana’s wedding gown.
Diana’s tiara and earrings have been authentically reproduced and each contains a real 1/2 point diamond.
The doll’s head, arms and legs are made of fine bisque porcelain and her complexion is hand-painted.
All paperwork included with this item is shown in pictures above.
Comes with wooden stand which is still in bubble wrap. Hands are also still in bubble wrap.
This doll is in excellent condition. The box, however, is in poor condition - stained and torn.
As far as I can tell, the doll has never been out of the box.
A highly collectible doll, exquisitely manufactured wonderful item for any collector or those beginning to collect.
