This is Volume 2 only, and contains the writings of Mr. Seward while he occupied the executive chair of his native state. He was in the Senate of New York and the United States. Contents of New York include History of the State, State Papers, Special Messages, Official Correspondence Virginia Controversy, Georgia Controversary, M'Leod Case, Pardon Papers. 672 Pages. Book is in poor condition, spine is missing and front cover is completely loose as are the first couple of pages, though it is over 150 years old. Rare historical book.
