Description: Up for sale is this very interesting bronze plaque of Teddy Roosevelt by James Fraser. Mr. Fraser was a well listed American artist that work in many different media. He is probably best know for his Native American Indian sculpture called End of the Trail. You can look this artist up on line to learn more about his work and life. This particular work is a bas relief of Teddy Roosevelt below is a famous quote: AGGRESSIVE FIGHTING FOR THE RIGHT IS THE NOBLEST SPORT THE WORLD AFFORDS. Fraser's name is found at the top left corner with a copyright of 1920. Plaque is a heavy bronze casting of good detail and quality. Piece weighs almost 7 lbs. Has a great aged patina with good detail. Please see pics.
Dimensions: Measures 12.5" X 9.75"
Condition: Good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some abrasion to the metal at the top left corner. A few small pin holes to the metal by his chin...appear to be from casting.
