These three napkin rings comemmorates the Spanish American War and of the sinking of the battleship US Maine in Havana Hrobor on Feb. 15, 1898 which precipitated the war. The battleship is depictedon one side and the words Destroyed in Havana Harbor 1898 Feb 15th. The motto is embellished with ropes and anchors. I do not believe these napkin rings are silver plate or stlering. There are no hallmarks or makings. Two are identical and stand approximately 1 1/4\" tall x 1 3/8\" diameter. Both are a bit out of round but otherwise in great condition.
