Beautiful vintage necklace of perfectly round, hand knotted, high lustre, cream white, cultured Akoya pearls.
The pearls are high quality, with no visible flaws to the eye, and measure between 6.5-7mm. Three standard 16 inch strands were made into two, so the necklace contains two cascading strands, the inner measuring approximately 23 inches and the outer approximately 24 inches.
The clasp measures 1 inch long and has a safety clasp feature. It is stamped 18kt gold and tested at 18kt. Small, round, cultured pearls frame an oval of pink sapphires. The sapphires and pearls are both genuine.
A gorgeous, classic piece in excellent condition. Has been appraised at $4,300.00 but must sell.
