ANTIQUE CARVED TATTING SHUTTLE TOOL
Charming antique 19th century sewing thread winder tool measuring about 1-3/4" long. Featuring an elliptical shape, it still retains some of the original wrapped thread.
Condition is lovely with no cracks, chips or damage other than a bit of usage wear and light soiling - the color is warm from age. Discovered in the bottom drawer of an old walnut thread stand, it is just a neat little piece of sewing history - lovely addition to any collection or display!
