You are offerding on an barely and carefully formerly enjoyed condition (used only a couple times!) smooth high contrast stained finish straight grain "Bent Volcano" shaped pipe, with an ebonite stem that was hand crafted by Mr. Todd Johnson of the USA. This "STOA" pipe is a prime example of Mr. Johnson's magnificent work. It is absolutely stunning! The straight grain that surrounds the bowl is as good as it gets. It is dense, tight and true. The dense, tight, swirling bird's eye grain that covers the bottom of the bowl and the shank is textbook perfect! This is one mesmerizing looking briar!
This gorgeous pipe was extremely well made to very precise tolerances. The balance and hand feel of this amazing pipe are simply terrific. The draft is nice and easy. A pipe cleaner will easily pass to the bottom of the bowl.
Here are the dimensions of this ultra high grade hand crafted pipe: The length is about 6.25". The bowl height is 1.70". The tobacco chamber is 0.70" in diameter and tapers down the bowl's 1.50" inner depth. The capacity is similar to that of a Group 3 to 4 size Dunhill pipe. The weight is 70 grams. The non original tapestry pipe bag that is pictured below is included.
I
have lightly cleaned, sanitized, rejuvenated, and
polished this beautiful pipe both inside and out. This took no time at all, since this pipe was barely formerly enjoyed. The original hand
cut ebonite stem is free from any scratches, and oxidation. The bowl coating is the original to the pipe. The bowl
stampings can be easily read. They are crisp and clear. It is ready to deliver
immediate
enjoyment right out of the box.
I
am running this as a “Private sale” so that you can offer on this
gorgeous high grade Ilsted pipe without worrying about stepping
over your fellow pipe
collector friends' offers, as well as keeping the winning buyer’s name

too much time and labor lavished on their restoration and presentations
as well as the many of these pipes are irreplaceable works of art. I am
not going to risk damage by using lesser packing. (In my tweleve years of
selling pipes on and shipping thousands of pipes around the world,
not a single pipe has been damaged!) I also try my utmost to ship your
pipe the same day that I receive your payment, even if this means making
a special trip to the Post Office just for you alone. The Express
parcels that ship overseas take extensive time with both the packaging
and several forms of documentation that must be filled out. Unfortunately,
this all has to be reflected in my shipping costs, so please offer
accordingly.
