Excellent and hard to find book published in Australia - not even listed on major sites like Amazon UK and Amazon.com. This book is about the author\'s cousin, Ronald Walter Posse, who was killed in a flying accident in the Northern Territory of Australia in WW2. He had been a Spitfire pilot and a member of 549 (Fighter) Squadron RAF from its formation until his untimely death on 16 November 1944 at Truscott, the secret wartime Kimberley airbase. He had flown 205 hours on Spitfires and 1240 hours on all types of planes. However, more than this the book is the story of Fighter Squadron 549.
