Tom Silver Vintage Repousse Hard Hat...storage Wars For Sale

.... Collectible Repousse Hard Hat from Toms Silver Yogja area in Indonesia which is widely recognized for its fine silver craftmen. From info I could find, this hard hat most likely dates back to the 1970's. This one is marked USA (one side) INDONESIA (other side) WAYNE (front) Front bill features an eagle with serpents on both sides and birds and flowers fill in the sides. Original Liner is in mint condition. Has oil rigs, platforms, eagle, flowers, drill bit , deer Often mistaken for tooling (which is done on leather) it is referred to a repousse when crafted on metal. I acquired this hard hat among contents of an estate I recently acquired and have done nothing but a light wipe off. If you are a fan of reality TV and watch Storage Wars, you may have seen one of the actors find two repousse hard hats which were appraised at $1000.00. It is very cool!!!
