Just the menu is a piece of history itself, Include in it
the autographs of the movie stars it is more valuable, now add in all the hall

I was enthralled when reading about some of his exploits.
The photo graced the back of the menu at Toot’s restaurant
for many years, and a terrific photo of a collection of baseball greats as they
posed at Toots Shor's New York City restaurant with the proprietor. This was
probably taken before they departed for the 1951 Hall of Fame induction
ceremonies in Cooperstown. The induction was on July 23, 1951.
is an inscription near the date on the menu that says Pa and I John ??? ( looks
like late)got them, (or they got there late and not all the HOF’s were still
there) according to the previous owner of the menu his dad and he were at the
restaurant and his “Pa” got the three movie stars autographs while they were
there and only his son ( the owner of the menu) was allowed to approach the
Hall of Famers for autographs,
was famous for letting the famous people there not be bothered by autograph
hounds so this day was special for all of them,
wrote on the front “there was all famous people there – great times great food”
on the front, to memorialize that day they were there.
