PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS DESCRIPTION BEFORE offerDING. You\'re looking at Trixy, a gorgeous black girl usedin advertising by D.B. Scully Syrup Co., Chicago, ILL. Scully purchased molasses from Louisiana,which wasprocessed from sugar cane during the early 1900\'S. The ad artworkherewas originally printed onto a molasses tin containerduring the early 1900\'s. OLD STYLEAD- REPRODUCED ON THIS PINBACK. You\'re looking at one large 3 1/2\" pinback button pin. Front is plasticand back is very shiny chrome. Button is in near mint condition. Front has no dents on the plastic, which is difficult to find in a large pinback like this.No printing on the edge of the pinback.Pinback was possiblyreproduced duringthe late 1980\'s or during the1990\'s using artwork from original tin, hasn\'t been used,and been in storage since that time........possibly new old stock.I honestlydon\'t believe this button was made after the early 1990\'s....a quality reissueof the original molasses ad. Exact age of pin-back is not known. Great looking ART of early Molasses advertising, featuring cuteTrixy!Images are probably slightly smaller than actual size of the pinback button, but shows good details.
