Antique1920\'s Beaded Silk Flapper DressEXC Condition
Over 40 years ago my mom gave me this dress as she was trying to organize her basement. It had belonged to my grandmother. It is a lovely gauze silk with white beads and rhinestones. It is 41\" from shoulder to hem, and about 19\" side to side. It is a chemise style with no under slip. It shows some signs of wear, age and storage, with small holes in the fabric, some bead loss and a wear hole under the right arm. It is surprisingly intact for it\'s age. At one point someone sewed decoration at the waistline to make it slimmer but those were not original and had been removed (so there are some stitch marks at the sides). Only stain I can see is on the side below the right armhole. It is a really pretty petal design skirt. The pictures give a good visual as to the condition.
