Walking around with the replica of antique US coins can make you feel rich. This SMALL SIZEtrue vintage buckle would make a nice everyday buckle for a coin collector hobbyist. This would fit a man\'s dress belt or also make a nice size for a woman. This limited edition heavy brass plated belt buckle is a replica of the US Minted Indian Head pennies, Morgan dollars, nickels, dimes and quarters of the early 1900\'s. This coin collage buckle is heavy and solid and was made in 1982. This is a quality buckle that was made by the Great American Buckle Company of Chicago, USA. Great American made quality buckles back in the day.
The back of the buckle has the logo of Great American and the limited series serial number #D1360 is also stamped on the back.
This buckle is in good condition for a 33 year old buckle with some surface scratches, scuffs, dings on the edges and significant patina (tarnish) on the back. See pictures under magnification. I do not remove the patina because I am not a retailer or collector. I am simply selling the buckles I have inherited and do not have time to polish each of the buckles and I want you to see exactly the condition the buckle is in. This doesn\'t mean it can\'t be polished or cleaned, but some people like to leave it to show its aging. Therefore, I don\'t take any cleaner, Brasso or polish to it.
The measurements of this buckle are approximately: 2 1/2 inches wide by 1 3/4 inches tall and would accommodate up to a 1 1/4 inch belt.
