Great condition! This decoy shows light to moderate wear to the canvas on the wings with most of the wear consisting of fraying to the edges. There is overall light paint wear withnicks / rubs as one would expect to see in a used vintage decoy. An age crack is noted along the back toward the left side. Remnants of the original brass plate is affixed to the bottom of the decoy. There are 2 holes in the bottom to allow a dowel with base to be utilized for use / display. 23.5 x 15.5 inches (maximum dimensions) Decoy has a fair / reasonable reserve
There is writing to the underside of the left wing, please super-size photos and use your own judgement... I have no idea what these remarks actually refer to. The paint certainly appears to be original based on my close examination.
