Pair of original c1863 tintypes showing the same soldier in two different poses, a frontal view, and a semi-profile view, showing the chevron on his sleeve. The buttons of his coat are hand-colored gold. Both tintypes are sixth-plate (1/6). The dimensions of the case are 3.75" x 3.25". Starting at $9.99 with ConditionThe frontal view tintype appears to be in excellent condition. No bends or other damage noted. The second tintype has light mat abrasions and a couple of very light and small bends along the right side. These are in the background. The cases show some wear, and both are missing their covers. One of the cases has an eagle on a shield design on the back. Payment due in 3 days unless other arrangements have been madewith me beforehand.
