Two 1930s Matchless Star Christmas Tree Lights. Not Working For Sale
Two Matchless Star Christmas Lights. C-6. Parts only
These were made in the 1930s, and in Chicago, Illinois. The plastic holder and the light bulb itself were manufactured in Chicago. The glass center and crystal glass points were imported from Czechoslovakia. Then the light was individually wired and assembled in Chicago. And then marketed in the United States. These were our invention.. our creation... and our really great contribution to Christmas lighting.
When lit, they absolutely sparkle. Like jewels on the tree. Only a figural star which just shines so brightly.
I hope someone can use the glass parts, as the bulb itself is missing on both of these.
There is nothing wrong with this Chrstmas light OTHER THAN these are two partial repair items. I start all my sales at .99 cents as it is an sale and I just never cared when I went to live sale and the saleeer started very high, and then spent time backing down to get a offer.
I am more than happy to combine postage to save money on multiple items.
