Two Cloisonne Cranes Open Wings Extended Neck Red or Brown Crown Vintage :

Two vintagecloisonné cranes, in white, faded red or brown, shades of blue, and black.They are in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. Both have an \"age patina\"onthem. I havenot cleaned them. I purchased them at the estate sale of a collector.I have several othercloisonné items listed as well,check out my other listings.
I am not an expert incloisonné. I am describing these items as they appear to meusing a magnifying glass as well as they naked eye.
The first crane has his wings fully extended upward. He stands 5 1/4\" tall andabout 2 1/2 inches at his widest point. His wings measure about 2 1/2 inches long.He has a small round spot on his head thatappears to be brown. It might have beenred at one time, I don\'t know. It\'s the onlyspot of brown/red on this fella. There aresome places where the artistdidn\'t perfectly match up the wiring- the hole where thebeak protrudes from the head,and the hole where his left leg protrudes from the body.There appears to be a smallamount of loss of gold color where the beakprotrudes. The right wing has a little toomuch gold wiring applied, it is thicker than the rest ofthe gold wiring.
The second crane has her neck extended upward, with her beak pointing toward the sky.She measures 4 7/8\" from the tip of her beak to the bottom of her feet, and she isabout 3 1/2\" at her widest measurement, tip of beak to tail. She also has a smallbrown or red spot on her head. It is not a complete circle, there is a small spot ofabout 20% of the circle that is not colored with the red or brown color.Her left leghas a small mismatch on the wiring where the leg protrudes from the body.
Each bird has its own wooden pedestal which measures approximately 2 1/8\" x 1 1/2\"by 5/8\" high. The pedestals are painted with a mahogany colored paint and also havethe \"age patina\". There are some stickers on the underside of the stands.
