Ty Beanie Baby -- BROWN OLD FACE TEDDY -- 2nd Gen HT -- 1st Gen TT -- Style 4050 -- The previous owner was an avid Beanie collector. Each Beanie was stored in its own acrylic box. This box measures approximately 8-1/2" x 4-1/4" x 4-1/4". It appears someone drilled holes in the box -- probably for better air circulation. The previous owner labeled many of the boxes -- this one reads: "Brown Old Face Teddy -- 2nd Gen. HT -- 1st Gen. TT" on the back of the box (see 3rd photo). It reads: "Brown Old Face Teddy" on the top of the box (last photo). I don't know whether this is correct -- I am not a Beanie expert. I can only tell you what is on the box. The original "ty" tag has the protector. The tag says only "ty" -- there is no star, just the red tag with the gold border, the word "ty" in white with a gold border. The tag is bent, from about the middle of the heart, diagonally through the "y" to the edge of the tag (see 6th photo). There is a plastic protector on the tush tag, which reads copyright 1993 Ty, Inc, Oakbrook, IL. Teddy is sitting on a plastic "stool". He has black eyes, a black nose, and short brown fur with a marroon bow. He shows very little use.
