TY Beanie Babies Princess Diana Bear / BUDDY which is the 14\" larger version. In 1997, TY designed the Purple Beanie Baby 8\" Teddy Bear to honor Princess Diana andearn money for charity. In 1998, TY made this larger 14\" BUDDY version. See the photographs of the hang tag on the ear which says Diana and her charity - Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
You will received a new TY BUDDY bear that include a plastic tag protector over the paper ear hang tag. It is authentic and original. This bear is the Large 14 inch size called a Buddy instead of a Beanie Baby. It was Handmade in China using PE Pellets. All the hang tags (paper ear tags) on TY Princess Diana BUDDY bears are the same style you can view in my photographs. The bottom tag called a tush tag all show Handmade in China and PE Pellets. I purchased this TY Princess Diana BUDDY bear from a TY authorized distributor in the USA. The bears were for sale in the USA using USA standards and packaging which did not include a box.
