U. S. Glass Michigan Rose Blush Eapg Covered Compote:
U. S. GLASS MICHIGAN ROSE BLUSH EAPG COVERED COMPOTE
This pattern and identification is shown on pages 35 and 144 of Heacock’s “Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass” Book 5 “U. S. Glass from A to Z” and it was made circa 1902 at the Doyle Factory, Pittsburgh, PA.This compote is made from a 4-part mold, sits on a multi-rayed base and measures 7 ½” tall, 5 3/8” in diameter at its widest and approximately 3 ¼” across the base. There are a few TINY occluded bubbles as to be expected in glass this age, but the blush and gold stains are 100% intact and it appears to be in MINT condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, fleas, damage or repairs. If you collect EAPG and/or this pattern, I do not believe that you could find a nicer example, regardless of how long you looked!
