U. S. Glass Michigan Rose Blush Eapg Covered Compote For Sale
U. S. GLASS MICHIGAN ROSE BLUSH EAPG COVERED COMPOTE This pattern and identification is shown on pages 35 and 144 of Heacock’s “Encyclopedia of Victorian Colored Pattern Glass” Book 5 “U. S. Glass from A to Z” and it was made circa 1902 at the Doyle Factory, Pittsburgh, PA.This compote is made from a 4-part mold, sits on a multi-rayed base and measures 7 ½” tall, 5 3/8” in diameter at its widest and approximately 3 ¼” across the base. There are a few TINY occluded bubbles as to be expected in glass this age, but the blush and gold stains are 100% intact and it appears to be in MINT condition with absolutely no chips, cracks, fleas, damage or repairs. If you collect EAPG and/or this pattern, I do not believe that you could find a nicer example, regardless of how long you looked!
