For sale is a vintage/old U.S. Watch Company, Waltham, Mass. pocket watch.
I do not know a lot about watches, so I will just list what is on the watch itself.
On the face is: U S Watch Co. Waltham.
On the back of the face is: U S Watch Co., 42871, Waltham, Mass.
I found on a website that the serial number 42871 is from 1890-91.
On the inside of the back of the case is: Keystone Watch Case, Guaranteed J. Boss, 15 Years, 2850241.
The watch chain is about 13 1/2\" long.
The watch does not work, but is in good condition for an item over 125 years old.
There is normal wear from use.
The end of one of the hands looks broken off to me.
