Hi! You're looking at avery goodconditionbook which isaremarkable memoir of one man's survival in war-torn Beirut during the Middle Eastern nation's Civil War, and the role that Christian faith played in his survival. This book is in very good condition and the book has VERY slight separation between the binding and the cover at the upper and lower edges, but NO loose pages and NO compromise of the binding the cover has a tiny ding and tear on the bottom spine tip, the cover has light shelfwear and a couple of very slight reading creases, and light browsing wear. The book is titled Under the Guns in Beirutand it was written by TERRY RABURN, with an introduction by BOB HOSKINS; it was published byRadiant Books in 1980.
Terry Raburn and his obedient wife Athena know what it is to be under the guns. For days they were trapped in a Beirut apartment while a Civil War raged outside in the streets and overhead in the air. This is their unique story amid the sounds of rumbling tanks, crackling machine guns, booming mortars, and screaming jet fighters. Yet through all of the horrors of war, unmistakably there is God's hand, protecting them and providing food, clothing, shelter, and water after the sources for these necessities were cut off.
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
