This listing is for a 19th century Chinese Export porcelain teapot with insulator and cup. The piece as a whole measures 5 ¼ inches or 13 cm high, and is 4 ¼ inches at its widest.

This unique teapot features a footed six sided porcelain insulator that the teapot sits in. The insulator is hand painted with full figures of woman standing with different auspicious objects. There are 4 metal loops on the top which has string for hanging? The teapot has two wire handles at the top which lift the pot out of the insulator. The teapot is footed and also similarly painted with a beautiful young woman seated on a leaf. The top rim is flared and has hand painted roses decorating it. the top of the teapot lifts to reveal a small cup which looks to be an inkwell or small teacup. The insulator and teapot have the desired orange peel texture to the porcelain, and has a Chinese chop mark on the bottom in under glaze red.

The condition overall is very good. There is some minor age appropriate wear to hand painted details. Please see the many photographs.
