We have been very busy getting sales ready, photoed and sorted, and are super excited to have some great estates coming up for sale over the next few months. To start the year off I have listed a Very Fine Chinese Qing Dynasty Porcelain Estate Collection. As All my sales have run for over 10 years selling on Everything is to be sold to the high buyer with Absolutely s, just like a Real sale should be! Description
Up for sale is an Interesting Chinese Qing Dynasty Famille Rose Porcelain Vase. The Vase is a very interesting piece, and I have not seen another one like this. I was told the vase would date from the 18th to earlier 19th century, Chinese Qianlong to Jiaqing period which by the very fine qualities I believe to be a correct dating. The Vase has Superbly hand painted figural paneled scenes all around, along with playing boys surrounding the top rim. The Vase also has unusual carved or moulded designs throughout including iron red and imperial yellow enamel designs all around the center of the vase, and famille rose lotus and floral paneled designs to the top and base. The Vase is a Signed example but as you can see has been drilled at the base so I cannot make out the mark. I am sure that similar period examples could be found in books, ect.? The Vase is otherwise in fine original condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The Vase is a Large size example and displays Beautifully measuring 12 ½ inches tall, by 9 inches wide. A Very Fine and Interesting piece.
