This sale is for a very unusual Chinese porcelain bottle vase. The vase is finished with a rich monochrome blue glaze around the lower section of the vase that stops evenly just below the neck. The slender neck of the vase is finely painted with an underglaze red dragon and bats. Underside is marked with a finely written six character Kangxi mark but we feel it dates to a later period. It stands almost 9.75 inches tall and is in excellent condition. There are some gaps in the blue glaze which can be seen in the photos. We sold this vase a while back for about $3,000.00 but is being relisted due to a nonpaying buyer.
