DESCRIPTION If you are a lover of interesting and unusual vintage and antique jewelry, you've come to the right place. I try to keep a nice mix of fine and costume pieces that range in age from 19th century Victorian to late 20th century vintage designer couture. I'm currently on a rather extensive buying trip and am pleased to say that I've found many exceptional pieces. Up for sale is a beautiful and most unusual antique Victorian era locket bracelet circa 1860-1880. I've not seen a piece quite like this before. The bracelet features engraved, gold filled or low karat gold, hinged links with a locket in the center panel. It appears that there is woven black hair under the glass. The bracelet measures 1 1/4" wide with the interior measuring approx 5 3/4" around with a soft tape(please note the small size). There is one more link on one side than on the other and I believe the bracelet may have been shortened at some point. Aside from that the condition is very fine.
