Up for sale with is a very fine c1885 Gorham Sterling Silver Serving Knife. The Knife is quite unusual and I am not 100% sure of the original purpose, probably for serving Fish, but it would be very practical for modern use as a fabulous Butter Knife. The Knife is the hard to find St. Cloud pattern by the top American Silver Company, Gorham and is dated on the back 1885. The Knife is in excellent all original condition with a slight bend at the tip but no cracks, breaks or repairs. The Knife measures 7-3/4" long with the blade measuring 3-1/2" long and feels great in your hands with a quality weight of 41 grams. This would make a fine addition to any Flatware Serving Piece Collection.
