This is an Original American Revolution eranote ("Continental Currency")from Maryland. Denomination: "ONE THIRD OF A DOLLAR". Dated "this 10th Day of April ANNO DOMINI 1774.". Size: approx. 2 1/2"X 4". Color: Tan/light-brown paper, w/Black over-printing. Hand-signed & numbered in brown ink. Nice Condition overall, VG+ or slightly better; w/light staining + note has an old vertical "fold-line" at center (***Please Note: there are several small holes along the center fold and note is in somewhat fragile condition because of them; this is the note's greatest "defect"; otherwise, it is in Nice Condition, Clear & Readable!).... Front side has a Nice decorative border surrounding a statement of release + the word " MARYLAND" at top & "ONE THIRD OF A DOLLAR" on the left-hand side; while the back/reverse side has a large Leaf Pattern & Printed by "A.
