This is a group of stamps from John I. Brown and Son. The first is RS40a, is on thin paper, hasbeen trimmed, and has a thin. It has adarker shade than the other two stamps. The second is RS40b and has been tornand rejoined and has tears and thins.The third is intriguing. It is onthick paper. I couldn’t detect awatermark (possibly due to several thins) and has a single silk tread. It may be RS40e, the experimental silk papervariety. The stamp has been torn in twoand rejoined and has thins and perf faults.Buyer to pay S/H - $1 in the US, $2 outside the US.
