Usmc M-1917a1 Helmet Us Marines Pre Wwii With Ega For Sale

This sale for an original USMC M-1917A1 Helmet as used by the US Marines in the 1930's and into the beginning campaigns of WWII. It has a M1936 enlisted EGA on the front. The pot itself looks to be the original Marine color and shows some surface corrosion from it age, but does not detract at all from this helmet. Also has a few dings from honest use. The straps are brown khaki and are in super condition, with NO cuts and NO tears, just a little dirt from age. Has brass hardware. The Liner is also in very good condition with NO tears and NO damage, just some honest wear around the brim. Has the Marine's name stamped on the center pad. Has the forging stamp under the from brim of the helmet FS 172. Overall this is a beautiful example of a hard to find USMC item that is very symbolic of the pre war and Iceland Marines. I have owned this since the early 90's when I picked it up at an antique store. Please contact me with any questions or if you need any other pictures. Thanks for looking!
