Usmc Wwi Magazine Pouch For Colt .45 Auto For Sale
Rare WWI USMC M1911 Magazine Pouch for the Colt .45 auto. The pouch is unissued and shows no wear. This pouch was made at the USMC Depot in Philadelphia and was made from a material with a different weave than the Mills pouches. The Depot was established in 1904 and located near the US Navy Yard. The facility employed civilian workers to fabricate a wide array of goods during both wars. The Philadelphia Depot was responsible for the shipment of guns, ammunition, tents, uniforms, mosquito nets, lockers, helmets, knives, ships, and other supplies during both World War I and II. This is a truly unique Marine Corps accessory from WWI and a must for USMC collectors.
