Uv Mini Pinch Black Light Purple Vaseline Depression Glass Ck Fluorescence 1 Led:
Each ultraviolet, long wave black light is on a handy key chain. The light is 1-1/4"long, very light-weight and durable in construction; no sharp corners to gouge orpoke if it is in your pocket. It turns on simply by pinching it and willturn off when released. It may be kept on with a smallswitch; this is a safety feature so it cannot turn on accidentally in your pocket or purse and burn out the battery.
Please keep in mind that this is a one LED UVbulb thus only as bright as one LED UVcan be.Itis mainly suitable for spot testing, for example if you were at a show and wanted to check a mineral or gem or verify if something is Vaseline or other type of fluorescent glass. If you want a BRIGHTER light, I suggest you look at others I offer with 12 or 21 UV LEDs for they also throw a beam. This little "pinch" style light is, as I said, good for on your key ring for spot checking.
NOTE: The body of the Pinch light is purple not clear as in the gallery picture. This is due to new stockofa more superior product received from my supplier. The fluorescing green marble in the picture is there only to illustrate the UV properties of the light. It does not come with the Pinch light. FREE WITH YOUR PURCHASE: An informative brochure about black light testingand a generous coupon for your use on any future ultraviolet lightpurchases. YOUR offer TO BUY IT NOW IS FOR ONE UV ULTRAVIOLET LED BLACK LIGHT.
Better than the fluorescent glass tube type light; this will not break if dropped and the LED has 100,000 hours life. IT IS WATER RESISTANT SO IT WORKS WELL EVEN IN THE RAIN! Use it to help verify the age of Cut, EAPG, Flint, and Pattern Glass, identify Marbles, Vaseline Glass, Carnival Glass, Burmese glass, and glass containing Uranium Dioxide salts, most Depression Glass, mineral and rock specimens, gemstones (tell genuine from those irradiated to change color), paper, posters, stamps, other ephemera, bone, ivory, textiles, currency, travelers checks, AND PET STAINS. Detect glue, repairs, chips, cracks, and replacements on antiques and collectibles. Especially valuable to identify "THE MAGIC GLASS" - VASELINE - as well as Custard Glass and Burmese glass which may contain the depleted uranium salts which give the "magic" glow.
