You are looking at a STUNNING and ULTRA RARE PRE-LANE ERA CHARATAN\'S MAKE SELECTED GRADE APPLE SHAPED HANDMADE briar estate pipe.
This is a very rare Handmade English Estate pipe from 1950\'s, before the Lane Era, when Charatan\'s was still a family business. All pipes were handmade back then with special care and diligence shown to each individual pipe.What makes this little gem a very special and rare offering that it is handmade by English artisans in the original small workshop that Charatan\'s Pipes was once all about. This feather weight Charatan has GORGEOUS 360 ANGEL\'S HAIR STRAIGHT GRAIN around the bowl. The stem is original and pristine, all markings are crisp.A gorgeous example of the legendary handmade English pipe making tradition, from one of England\'s oldest and most prestigious brands. This is a piece you are absolutely going to love both for looks and smoking alike and it will make a prized place in any collection! It is used but in excellent condition, cleaned (nothing more than a gentle, light cleaning and waxing), sanitized and ready to smoke right from the parcel.
