Unbelievable Dresden demitasse cup and saucer decorated by The Helena Wolfsonporcelain studio which operated from 1843 to early 1900\'s.The workmanship in this cup and saucer has to be seen to be believed. Fantastic !!! The decorating studio of Helena Wolfson did work that would rivaleven Meissen at the time. This set has heavy gold gilding inside and out with four different figures in landscapes in the style of Watteau on the saucer with the cup having 2 landscapes. The cup is 2 inches tall by 2 3/4 inches in diameter with the saucer being 4 1/2 in diameter. The saucer carries the Helena Wolfson mark that dates this piece to 1886-1891. italso carries the Ovington back mark.
