Unique American National Or Marmon 1920 - 1930's Era Pedal Car For Sale
***PLEASE SEE SPECIAL SHIPPING OPTIONS BELOW*** This is a unique 1920-1930's Pedal Car from an estate. Overall it is in great shape--but I want to give as many details that I can see as possible.I am not an expert--butI believe it is an American National or Marmon based on the front bumper (I looked on the net and found a few examples--but I may be mistaken.) The car was foundin a garage storage room under a sheet. The car was (restored--not completely-see below)approximately 20 years ago according to the family. It was used by the grandchildren and has some typical wear--a few small dents, some paint chips and a few minor rust spots. It has a wood chassis. It has an Emil J. Paidar Company stamp on the radiator and under the rear storage compartment box. (I don't think the stampswere original--as I think Paidar made barber chairs.) The car probably had a windshield at one time as there are slots on the side of the hood for it--but it is missing. It has a small removableoil tin mounted on the left hand side of the drivers area. The rubber wheels do have partial flat spots on them where the car sat. The right side wheels are missing the hub caps. The dash does not have any decals-but does have a small wooden dial that rotates left or right. The steering wheel has a rubber outer coating and a simulated gear shifter. It has a leaf spring suspension on the rear. It measures 24" wide by 45" long by 24" tall. It weighs 60 lbs. Please look at the pictures for details and email me if you need more info--I will gladly respond. This car could make a nice project for someone ready to restore it to perfect condition!
Because of it's size and weight--I am offering local pickup or I can drop it off at the UPS store (Buyer's Expense on wrapping and shipping) after confirmed PayPal payment.
