A wonderful antique enamelled silver Persian vase that is ornately designed with typical Iranian scenes. The vase is beautifully painted with four medallions consisting of four different scenes. One scene depicts a portray of a scholar man contemplating under a tree. The second scene illustrates a portray of a women carrying a water jar. The other two scenes contain pictures of different birds. Overall the enamel is in good condition but chipped from two places around the neck of the vase. Only the neck and the base of the vase are silver. Although not hallmarked, they were tested to be silver. The paintings on the vase are overwhelmingly beautiful!
