The split in the neck of the Creature in the second picture I first thought was along the two part seam of the head. Upon closer examination, it is a straight line crack that only affects the neck ring. I am not aware of the manufacturing process for this figure (degree in chemical design) but can see that the plastic flow lines in the neck are either that this portion of the neck are manufactured separately or that this portion of the ring for the neck are very similar to others in this production line leading me to believe that the neck ring was a multi-piece design leading to this "crack" formation. I will try to find production process designs within the industry at that time to see what might cause this. I apologize as it wasn't until I studied other pieces did I see this pattern of stress fatigue wear. If this changes your offerding status, let me know.
