University Of North Dakota School Of Mines "huck" Vase 4 1/2":
You are offerding on a University of North Dakota School of Mines carved vase in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or repairs found. I couldn't get the lighting right so the pics show the vase as more purple than it really is. The pic with the ruler is closer to the color of the piece. The body is cream colored with pinkish purple flowers and green lines. It is 4 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter at it's widest point. It has the standard North Dakota School of Mines mark on the bottom, with incised marking around the perimeter of the bottom. I can't make out the first part but it says "Huck - 5044". Flora May Huckfield (1876-1960) was the sister of Margaret Cable, who also made pottery for North Dakota School of Mines. It is probably from around the 1930's. New ers are welcome, but if you have 5 responses or less, you’ll need to contact me before offerding. If you don’t contact me and place a offer, I reserve the right to cancel your offer.
