I admit, I have never seen anotherintinction vessellike this.

I have tried to research it but came up with nothing.

It does have a maker's mark and stamp, but I could not make it out ... even under a magnifying glass.

I'm at a loss.

It's truly beautiful and very ornate with all it's detail and style.

I believe it is silver, but I can not and am not claiming that as it is not marked sterling.

It does however smell clean and doesn't have the smell of silverplate.

It measures 12 -1/2 inches in height with the lid.

The cup measures 4 inches diameter.

The depth of the cup is 2-1/2 inches.

The inside of the cup contains a attached small chalice with a glass insert.

My guess is the glass would hold about a shot of wine.

Both the inside of the cup and lid are gold plated.
