Unusual 16th/17th Century Islamic Pottery Bowl!

This wonderful Islamic pottery bowl is decorated with black floral designs under a rich blue green glaze. It is decorated with translucent pierced or rice grain designs around the sides. It dates from the 16th / 17th Century and measures approximately 3 + ¾ inches deep by 8 + ½ inches diameter. It is in excellent condition with the exception of some crazing to the glaze with one fine hairline coming off from the rim. Also one of the pierced holes has been filled with resin.
