For your consideration, a gorgeous Hizen Arita porcelain plate with an unusual scalloped rim, circa 1890s Japan. The plate is signed \"Dai Nippon Hizen Arita Aoki Sei\" on the underside. The piece is in good condition with no chips or cracks. Some enamel and glaze loss noted in photos. Also some hairline cracking to glaze ONLY noted in photos.

Measures 9.75 inches in diameter.
