This is a very unusual Royal Doulton seriesware shape a biscuit jar which has been decorated with two beautiful scenes of the "Gleaners" pattern
The jar stand 7 inches high by 7 inches wide and on the base it has the Royal Doulton Gleaners backstamp
Thecondition is wonderful with no damage or restoration, there is some crazing to the glaze and a stain to the base as shown apart from this its in great order. The knob on the lid is a slightly different shade of green to the handles and rim
