Unusual Small Carved Wood Box with 5 Fish Fetish Figures.

I got a few interestingethnographic pieces at an estate sale in Berkeley, CA. Thislittle box was among I don't know much about these types of pieces, it looks really old however, and shows considerable wear, on the wood with raised grain, the wood is very dry and lightweight.

Fish are Carved Bone with red eyes, and slit mouths, have considerable wear and age darkening.

. Box has a slide top with finger hole.

The box is 1.5" tall X 2" wide X 3.75" long.

Fish are 2" X .5"

Good Condition, looks like it was handled a lot and the top slides out easily.
