Offered for your consideration is an unusual vintage Remington pocketknife. This is one of the German knives that was made from the late 1960\'s through the 1970\'s. It was very nicely made and it\'s a tight, solid folder. The knife has a coined brass handle with a 1922 Grand Prix scene on one side with a bicycle and automobile scene on the other. This knife was almost certainly made by Olbertz in Solingen, Germany.Though listed as \"Used\", the knife has not been used, carried, or sharpened and remains in excellent condition with no problems. It has not been polished or buffed and remains original. The knife has been well cared for over the years and shows no signs of abuse or rough treatment.The knife was beautifully crafted and it\'s just a great-looking knife all the way around. It offers that certain special feel of premium-quality precision and it\'s a tight, sturdy knife that\'s only 3/16\" thick. The thick, sturdy blades were crisply ground and polished to a mirrored finish. The blade etch remains bold and strong with great contrast against the finish. The blades are completely free of any grinder marks or sharpening abrasions and retain their original factory edges. The blades are free of any corrosion or pitting with no stains or discoloration. The edges are free of any nicks, chips, dings, or damage with no use or wear. The blades remain very sharp and the knife is ready for immediate use. Both tips are intact and original with no blunting, burrs, or bending. Blade travel is very smooth over the entire arc for both blades. The blades remain solid and tight in the open position with the master blade having just a hint of side play if forced. The spring remains very strong and the blades exhibit a crisp, strong snap in both directions. The handle is of brass and it remains very nice. The brass is highly detailed and it has aged beautifully. The details all remain crisp and sharp. The scales were tightly pinned andthey\'re free of any gouges, dents, dings, marring, or damage with no wear.
